Conference: By Women, For Women

The Conference by women for women, which was created by us and also founded by Womens fund Georgia for students witch were interested in gender studies, took place in Tbilisi at December 2016.

The aim of this conference was to empower young people research the conditions of women around the world and specifically in Georgia, to start thinking in direction of the gender equality importance and empower them to make future steps in this directions.

Every Participant presented a topic around gendering:

• Violence against women

• Gender equality

• Feminists

• Women as victim

• Sexual discrimination

• Women in the Georgian society

After the presentation we discussed the specific topics.

In the end every participant got a certificate and the three with the best presentation got special awards.
